Anti-Diet Dietitian -
Nutrition counseling with out a foundational belief that the primary goal of nutrition counseling is “successful dieting.”

I choose to approach nutrition in an anti-diet and weight inclusive way due to having a history with anorexia nervosa and disordered eating. The dietitian I saw during recovery helped me to find peace with food and my body.

My private practice is a testimony of how what the enemy meant for evil, God has turned for good. Through my practice I pray that you learn to feed your physical body with earthly food and your spiritual body with spiritual food.

I believe that…

  • Health is nuanced and is not limited to physical health. Health is physical, emotional, social, intellectual, financial, and spiritual and is not determined by the number on the scale.

  • You are not a problem that needs to be fixed. You are enough just as you are.

  • All bodies are good bodies.

Through my practice…

I offer weight-inclusive health, well-being, and nutrition care.

Nutrition is the science of nourishment. While that seems like a very simple definition, the word “nourishment” is very multifaceted.

The word nourish means - to feed, provide for, cherish, cultivate, encourage, supply, and support.
Through my practice you will be challenged to ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Do I cherish my body?

  2. Do I support my body?

  3. Am I providing for my body?

  4. Am I cultivating a healthy environment for my body?

  5. What is your attitude around feeding yourself?

  6. What is your attitude around not feeding yourself?
